Virya Technologies recently launched a side-project to their regular functions of providing website design and IT Support, to provide a means of distributing the range of open source software developed by the organisation.

Virya Software will be the portal through which Joomla! extensions and other open source products will be marketed and supported.

Presently available software includes

Several extensions for Joomla! 1.7:
- HTML Map 2
- Whizzy Tags & Whizzy Tags for K2
]Project-Open[ - an open source enterprise level Project Management System
Room Bookings Reloaded - a fork of phpScheduleIT resource bookings system

Virya Software will also be the main channel for all work requiring re-writing of extensions for the latest version of Joomla! - 1.7 - where the oroginal developers have decided not to continue the project, or are not able to convert the extension quickly enough for projects.
