Ruth founded Virya Technologies back in 2006 under the name of Suffolk Computer Services and has worked hard to drive the business forward along an ethical path. She is a practicing Buddhist within the Triratna Buddhist Community and is in the process of training for ordination.
Ben joined Virya Technologies back in 2009 as a freelance contractor, providing support to our IT clients around Suffolk and Essex. He joined our team on a full-time basis in February 2012 and leads up the IT Support team. Ben has also been key in moving our business processes towards a completely Open Source setup, and is a frequent contributor to several open source projects.
Chris joined Virya Technologies in October 2011 as a Website Design Apprentice. Working closely with local learning provider WS Training, Virya Technologies created a programme of study which allowed Chris to achieve an NVQ Level 2 while learning vital on-the-job skills.
Chelsie joined Virya Technologies in October 2012 as a Marketing and PR Apprentice. Chelsie works in a range of areas from preparing and sending press releases to managing our social networking sites and keeping the company website up to date. Her main purpose is to get the company well known and a establish a brand around Joomla! and Open Source.
Doreen has previously worked as an executive assistant and a project manager for Virya Technologies, and is currently our Business Development Manager. She seeks out and finds great opportunities for us, and makes sure we are telling the world about all the amazing work we do.
Clare joined Virya Technologies in June 2012, having worked across a wide range of business sectors. Clare manages our office administration and provides PA services to our Director, in addition to attending networking events and managing customer relations.
Andrew joined Virya Technologies in December as a Website Design Apprentice. Andrew joins us having completed his A-Levels at Felixstowe Academy, and is keen to find his feet within the Joomla! community.
Atulyamati joins Virya Technologies having worked for many years in the business world, helping organisations manage their accounts. Her role at Virya Technologies as Accounts & Payroll Manager involves keeping on top of our finances, chasing up late payments and ensuring that we stick to our budgets! Atulyamati also manages our payroll.
