We had a client report that their attachments on K2 articles would not download - giving an error message in the source code initially, and then subsequently a 404 error. On investigating we identified that the latest version of K2 handles attachments slightly differently.
You may be excused for not noticing the latest additions to Google Places - I don't often visit my Places page but each time I do recently I've noticed additional features popping in without much song and dance!
So just a few moments ago, Google announced that they were opening up Google+ pages for businesses - one might say a direct competitor for Facebook Pages.
Google's search engine is a fantastic tool, and there still seem to be no effective competitors. Unfortunately, however, Google have been making quite a few changes which have hugely affected the relevance of results, and often leads to needing to enter a second search.
This post details some of the tips users can use to try and reduce this, including minor changes you can make to Chrome/Chromium and Firefox to allow searching through the inbuilt search bars to be less irritating!
