An article published by the
BBC draws attention to a potential attack vector which has enabled a team of researchers to gain 120,000 mis-directed emails within six months, including usernames, passwords, and details about corporate networks. Is this another potential attack vector that companies should seriously consider as part of their data security, or simply a PEBKAC error?!

In an article recently published on
The Register, a diabetic researcher reveals that he identified a vulnerability in the software used to control the flow of life-saving insulin pumps, which would allow a hacker to gain wireless access and increase, decrease or stop the flow of insulin. He had contacted the company producing the pump - Medtronic - numerous times to report the vulnerability, and was ignored.
