Sticky notes are frowned upon .... excel spreadsheets can be compromised ... and my memory is about as good as a leaky sieve! Mozilla appears to have come to the rescue with a suggestion of a future alternative to the hundreds of username/password combinations we have to remember if we're keen users of websites.

It's a bit concerning when a search engine decides to drop ALL domains from its records because they end in a suffix which is commonly used by spammers .. but that's exactly what Google has just done.

Recently Twitter moved over to its Web Intents Platform which may well have passed you by - it certainly did me, until I had a few calls from clients saying that their 'Tweet This' links - particularly in K2 and AdsFactory in Joomla! but I assume this is the case in a huge range of web-based applications - had stopped working.

Problem: Simpleviewer gallery on a Joomla! site displaying white crosses instead of gallery images
I had a message from a Joomla! website owner this week who was having trouble with his Simpleviewer Image Gallery which was set up within a Joomla! environment. Aside a couple of problems with the Joomla! setup itself and lots of extra code in the content articles which didn't need to be there, the main problem was that the gallery images were displaying as ugly white crosses for some people, and not for others.
