Virya Technologies works closely with several charities providing financial, training and consultancy services where they are needed most.  The charities we currently support are:

The Evolution Trust, Nagpur, India

http://www.evolutiontrust.org - providing computer and English language training to children and young people in India.

Through its projects, The Evolution Trust aims to give computer and English training to economically challenged students in the Indian society.  It is run by Buddhists from the Triratna Buddhist Community, and provides IT and website design training as well as English Language courses at its centre in Nagpur.  Virya Technologies designed the website and online training course system for Evolution Trust and continue to support the projects by providing training and courses for their students via the Internet.

The Abhayaratna Trust

The Abhayaratna Trust exists to support members of the Triratna Buddhist Community who experience poverty or difficulty in old age.  The Trust can help to fund for adaptations to enable the member to continue practicing at their centre, assist with funding retreats and other activities which may not be affordable on a pension.  This is a vital lifeline to the older Order members who have often dedicated their life to the Triratna Buddhist Order.  Virya Technologies donate financially to the Abhayaratna Trust.
